Campaign Reaches 79% of Goal!

We have raised $3,960,928 from 14,962 donors! With an average gift of $265.00, we will need 3,924 donors in the coming weeks to reach goal.

Process to Report Gifts

Please use the Weekly Report Tally Sheet (download copy here)  that carries all totals from one week to the next. We ask that you return any completed pledge envelopes and forms as well as a parish check for the entire amount of cash and checks offered to the appeal since your previous report. While some parishes give us the individual checks of donors, and they have been accepted at our Office in the past, the best procedure is that those checks be deposited into the parish checking account and a single check for the total be sent to our Office.

It is important to ensure that prior to sending any pledge envelopes or monies from the parish to the Development Office that the gift information on the envelopes or cards is accurate.

Campaign Off to a Great Start!

Last weekend close to 90% of our parishes conducted the In Pew Solicitation and the remaining parishes are planning on conducting one this weekend. With the early gifts received from donors thus far we notice an increase per gift, along with new gifts. Preliminary parish results will be provided next week.

Need More Campaign Materials?

All promotional material for the Partners in Charity campaign have now been distributed. Those parishes that may need additional material are welcome to call the office and make arrangements for pick up. For scheduling purposes and convenience, we will be happy to have these items prepared for pick up in the Chancery lobby, just let us know a day in advance.  Read More >

New Advisory Committee Embodies Collaboration

The Office of Stewardship and Development recently formed a new Partners in Charity Advisory Committee. The committee views itself as an agent of hope bridging the “disconnect” that some former donors feel, which has led them to stop giving, as well as advocates of how Partners changes people’s lives. The  pastors who attended the first meeting responded with goodwill and cooperation. There was a strong sense of collaboration within the group and the realization that if parishes work together by offering inter-parish support to help all parishes reach goal, the entire diocese benefits.

Blessed Pope John Paul II is the patron of this year’s annual appeals campaign. The Holy Father’s words invite us to open wide the doors to Christ. As a partner in charity, you can help keep open the doors to Christ by supporting those programs, agencies and offices that do the work of Christ through their ministries.
