Offering Care and Support to Our Priests

The office of the Ministry to Priests attends to the overall health and well-being of our diocesan priests. The bishop appoints a priest to be the minister to his fellow priests. His days and efforts are dedicated to ministering to and with the priests of the diocese. He makes himself available and accessible to listen to our priests with their hopes and frustrations, their successes and problems, and their constructive comments and criticisms. By his priestly service, he works to enhance the spiritual, physical and emotional strength of his fellow priests by promoting policies and programs that affirm priests in their calling.

Our priests in their ministries are dedicated to the care of all God's people. The office of Ministry to Priests in turn brings care and pastoral support to all our priests.
